I went to the elementary school where my son went to. I did some
tasting of the school lunch. They are all handmade and delicious. My son
seems to look forward to having a school lunch every day. I was sorry
that the tableware was made by alumite. I'm hoping to have it be
improved soon.
I went to Donq near my work with my colleague for lunch. Donq is my
favorite bakery. We have a wide choice of bread at the bakery. The
conversation grew lively while eating a delicious lunch. I forgot to
bring my wallet so he paid the bill. I want to go there again.
I went to the dental clinic for the maintenance of my tooth. There is
the dentist in the basement of Hotel Okura. That dental hygienist cleans
my teeth carefully and the treatment of the dentist is not so painful. I
have heard the tourists staying at Hotel Okura were receiving dental
treatment at the dental clinic. I have to take care of my teeth to enjoy
eating even if I become 80 years old.
I often go to a baker called the Cascard. The shop is in Tambabashi
Station of Kyoto. I love French bread and sandwiches in particular.
You can bring that back or eat in the shop. If you go to Tambabashi Station, I recommend the bread of the Cascard.
I passed in front of Saikyu-ji temple, near the Fujinomori Station. I
had been going there to participate in a yoga class during my maternity
leave and childcare leave. The instructor of the yoga was experienced,
so I learned some important things about labor and childbirth from her.
For example, a way of physical training for delivery and the breathing
at the time of labor pains. I met some pregnant women who turned a
breech baby by her instruction.
I want to go again because it is settled
down very much to do yoga in the temple. If you are interested in yoga
or meditation, wouldn't you like to stay at our guesthouse, and go to
the Saikyu-ji temple together?
I went to Kani Doraku with my parent and my son. It was near our
guesthouse, about 10 minutes on foot. I did not make a reservation, but
the usher conducted us to the private room.
My son fell sound asleep, so
we were able to have dinner and calm down.
The waitress who was wearing a kimono offered various kinds of crab
dishes. The sashimi and the grilled crab dish were very delicious.
My parent said that we could spend a luxurious time, so I was happy.
It has stopped raining, I went to the hydrangea festival of
Fujinomori-jinja Shrine with my eldest son. The shrine is near my house
and our tutelary deity. In the hydrangea garden, there were various
colors of hydrangeas such as pink ,purple, blue, yellow green, and white. I didn't know various kinds
of hydrangeas like that so far.
After having left the hydrangea garden,
we ate hydrangea Dango. They were selling skewered mugwort dumplings as hydrangea Dango. My son loves Dango, so he
ate joyfully.
The people who were wearing happi coats played the Japanese drums at the
festival. I felt that the drumbeat sounded to the core of my body.
